Project Architect

Gienapp Architects is seeking a talented Project Architect to join our team. As Project Architect, you will be the staff member with primary responsibility for the execution of design and project documents. The ideal candidate will understand all of the project’s technical needs and elements. Come join us as we continue on our path of successful projects, happy clients and steady growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take primary responsibility for a project’s design, detailing and technical attributes
  • Coordinate in-house design team and consulting engineers
  • Produce and supervise others in the production of all drawings and specifications
  • Maintain daily contact with the project team
  • Maintain project documentation and write meeting notes
  • Act as primary contributor to specification technical sections
  • Ensure all drawings and specifications conform to firm and professional standards
  • Collaborate with Project Manager on their responsibilities including:
    • Project schedule
    • Cost estimates and budget

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters of Architecture required, Registered Architect or working on registration
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience on project teams
  • 10 years’ responsibility for drawing production
  • Revit ability required
  • Strong technical knowledge of building detail
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts public bidding a plus
